The Haughhead Footbridge at Innerleithen has been closed by SBC council staff pending safety inspections and assessment of essential repairs. The bridge will remain closed until it can be repaired.

Full of interesting articles about the locality. Traditions are important but they need to be relevant to the modern age , fully inclusive and open to everyone. A really interesting and productive advice surgery today with Cllr. Viv Thomson SNP Councillor for Tweeddale West at Tesco in Peebles. A wide range of issues discussed and added to our caseloads. Some matters are to be escalated to Christine Grahame MSP for her intervention and assistance. Thanks to everyone who came along and joined in our discussions.
